How I'm planning on filming and editing

This is how I am planning to film and edit a professional downhill and freeride video this summer. Please correct me if you would do anything differently or you find a fault.

1) Film in 24p... high shutter speeds for fast moving shots, etc

2) Shoot in 60i for shots that I would want to slow mo

3) Use Shake to create awesome looking slow mo shots and then conform to
24 for editing in Final Cut Pro.

4) Edit in Final Cut Pro with a 24 FPS sequence

5) Export using MPEG-2 convertor for DVD 90 MINUTES HIGHEST QUALITY in compressor

6) Finalize and burn in DvD Studio Pro

I'd make sure you're making a 24p DVD. It'll look much better on progressive displays like HDTVs and computer monitors.
