How does Uwe Boll do it?

Everytime I see a trailer for Bloodrayne my head explodes. Even the TRAILER doesn't look worthy of normal tv... let alone a theatrical release.

When the one guy says: This might.....be the end.....of the world.....as we know it.

Whaaaaaaatttt?

How 2 guys like Boll and Anderson get to make film after film is beyond me. I guess they're the best a$$ kissers in town.
I agree with every one of the posts in this thread.

Castlevania??!! Great, now he's gonna ruin my favorite video game of all time and turn it into a lame, piece of garbage.

As a rule of thumb, usually when a movie has "vs" in the title, it winds up being really bad.

Freddy vs. Jason
Ballistics: Ecks vs. Sever
The Batman vs. Dracula

just a thought.
then again, there are exceptions (Kramer vs. Kramer)

Good point, Luis. A quick search of IMDb serves up a plethora of movie titles containing "vs". Probably the single most used is "Godzilla vs. ________" fill in the blank.
:)
And I can only wonder how bad "Dracula vs Dr. Frankenstein" could be. But then again, is it really fair to pick on B-movies? Now, there's a title you don't see much anymore: B-move. I guess they're called straight-to-video today.

I despise "Dr."Uwe Boll more than any person in the history of filmmaking. The epitomy of everything that is wrong with Western culture.

You know what I'm putting in my vote for Uwe Boll as the worst German person in the history of the planet. That's not going to far right?

Did anyone else find it funny that Boll mentioned his movies made money on comparison to AvP and Resident Evil?

Hooray, you're as good as the second most hated filmmaker in the world.

Nice! - Guess he never "wanted" to be a filmmaker... Well victory is his!

Isn't that an REM song?

I love the Dr.

I use to be mystified over the fact this guy gets to make movies with budgets and I am stuck in my "wannabe" filmmaker rut.

Now, I can't wait to go to the theatre and laugh my ass off for 80 minutes.

When I first watched "House of" I was in disbelief, then went about trying to find information on if it was supposed to be a mockery of horror films... alas it wasn't.

I knew going in Alone in the Dark would be pathetic, and know going in Bloodrayne will bite too... but it'll bite gloriously!!

My problem is I don't think i'm gonna be able to throw away $11 bucks to go see Bloodrayne in the theatre. It hasn't reached B.C. yet, and after it takes in less than 2 mil this weekend I'm afraid it'll be heading right where it belongs...video!

I wish I could laugh at his stuff. It's JUST SO ASS! It could almost be descrided puking garbage on garbage.

House of the Dead was the most poorly "everything" movie I have ever seen. I'd rather be stuck in a room for 2 years with nothing but the "Yentel" soundtrack, than watch another one of his spoutings.

Has any one seen his pride or honor laying around any where? Maybe somewhere near his skill level or devotion.

Not being raised in the video game generation, I have never been able to warm up to the movies based on them. I am sure they hold a special place to those who have played the games, but for me, they just don't do it.

I'm not necessarily saying they are bad (well, Lara Croft? yeah, that was bad) but that they just don't do it for me.

I hadn't given much thought to Uwe Boll, but I can say that when I saw the previews of Bloodrayne I knew that that was $11.50 that I wasn't going to have to spend.

well some are really cool story lines he getting ahold one a ruininig. i heard he trying to get rights to metal gear if he does ill go to his home personally and hurt him badly.

I've been playing video games for a long time and thinking about it right now I can not think of a single video game to movie adaptation that I have even remotely enjoyed. Often times though, the game's original concept is mangled into some loose interpretation of the story or concept that made me like the game to begin with. Resident Evil is a perfect example. Except for an evil corporation and zombies the movie and game have absolutely nothing to do with one another. The game is creepy and atmospheric and the movie is some sci-fi flashy piece of crap featuring a computer voiced by some snobby little girl. UGGHHH....

Ohh and if Boll or anyone on his level is attached to MGS......there will be a reckoning...mark me
