How does Uwe Boll do it?

Well, I wouldn't say that Tarantino "rips off". If we accept Picasso's premise that:
"bad artists imitate, great artists steal",

then I think it would safe to say that Tarantino steals, while Boll imitates. Tarantino takes characteristics of older films and puts an interesting twist on them, while Boll desperately mimics other filmmakers because he is a no talent hack who lacks even one iota of vision.

The funny thing is, I haven't really seen an Uwe Boll movie, and am bashing the guy's work! I have to see one ASAP, what do you guys suggest?

Putting critics in the ring was a funny move by him, I have to give him that...
 
I can only suggest BloodRayne, since that's the only one I've seen. And if you do watch it, I need an explanation as to why Meat Loaf was in bed with all those naked women, how/why Rayne got out of her jail cell so suddenly (did I doze off again? was the door left unlocked?) and did she have sex with that dude because he brought her some clean clothes? Oh, clean clothes that I dont think she ever put on...unless they were exact duplicates of the dirty ones with the red leather crotch.

More seriously, as I understand it he used to get tax write-offs in Germany which meant he didn't have to make money to be profitable, just spend it on movies. Fortunately the German government recently came to their senses and changed the law so that money is no longer available to him or the other bad directors who benefitted from the scheme.

Apparently after sinking to exploitative retarded chick gang-rape in 'Heart of America', his new wheeze is adding pointless real-life footage of animal torture and killing to bad serial killer movies.

Actually, technically 'Heart of America' may count as a bad serial killer movie, so maybe there's a trend here :).

This part is easily explained. Not by me though. I have no clue. But whatever the reasons or background or errors, that scene had to happen and it is a case of the end (Kristanna Loken's that is) justifies the means.
 
i heard that in Germany.... if you invest in a film, and the film loses money you get a tax write off of that money. HEnce why German Uwe Boll keeps getting money to make movies. Some corporation or rich individual is trying to write off some taxes......

or so i hear.
