I'm starting to accumulate a lot of articulating arms and bracket and hardwares and nuts and boalt to make my gh2 video camera. I will get rails soon too. How are people keeping there cams in their cases? Are some keeping rails always attach? I don't like to have many things to assemble because I know I will forget something or rush rush and then I am in big trouble. It is fecisible to store in ready to rock state?

I keep all of my rigs fully assembled (Bulldog, Areeba, and Ultracompact from Indisystem) and when I get to location, I just slide the cam into the quickrelease system and I am ready to shoot. Pretty simple. Is better to have all pieces at your shoot site and eventually strip it down as needed (those rigs are VERY customizable). Cameras, the most expemsive item, goes into a nicely padded bag, all alone, by itself (except for the quickrelease plate, of course).
