Has anyone used the Panasonic AF100 with the Eyedirect HDV interview gadget???
I've been unable to mount my AF100 to this device because the Eyedirect HDV baseplate where the AF100 is supposed to screw on to the Eyedirect isn't high enough.
Maybe Use a shim plate to get it higher. Maybe the slide plate from your head.
The AF100 is pretty standard dimension from base to centre of lens. Thats why its easy to fit rod and base plate systems (and mattaboxes) with minimum adjustment. What camear is that device designed for?
Hi Shooter, I don't have a height adjuster so I went ahead and ordered the 2" riser from vfgadgets. I just saw Philip Bloom's video about the device and saw that he was also using an AF100 with the same 2" riser. The strange thing is that the riser is supposed to be for the 16x9 eyedirect. Yet I know Bloom was using it with the HDV version.
