FS7: how do you guys prefer to expose slog 3?

was wondering what you guys use to get the best exposure on the Fs7?

I know certain situations call for different settings but i was wondering what people prefer here for the majority of their shooting.

Do most people use a monitor lut to give them an idea of exposure, or are they still monitoring in slog 3 with the help of the waveform, zebras etc...

If you use a LUT to expose what's your “go to” LUT?

I prefer to not a use a LUT to monitor but i feel like it's gotten me in trouble in the past. I've had blown out highlights when it came to grade due to adding a bit of contrast.

This has been discussed to death on this forum which is probably why no one wants to open pandora's box again right here. Just do a search and you'll find a ton of conflicting and enlightening threads.
 
Gimbaled crystal ball mounted to 19mm Arri rods is best.. :).. REC 709 MLUT in EVF.. apply eye ball to EVF.. (not camera mounted LCD).. adjust aperture, not man bun ..press record..
