how do you do time lapses on the dvx100b?

This is my first post and i was wondering how to do time [FONT=Arial,Bold]
Intervals with the DVX100B. If any one could tell me how to set it up on my camera, that would be great.

b you say, must admit the interval recording is handy on the a. The easy answer, record a full hour or two of whatever and speed up in your NLE = time lapse. The hard answer, if you are shooting into sunset, or from sunrise monitoring the aperture is a good idea.

On a sunrise I usually under expose a little initially so as it peaks Im ok. Or inversely for sunset. During the day where clouds pass, polariser on, try to expose around the mid, or depending on your desired outcome, you can expose for the brightest phases so when the clouds pass it darkens, or once again inversely.

planning on doing a sunset time-lapse as well. i was looking thru barry's book and it had indicated that youhave to pretty much do it manually? pushing the rec each time?

I think earlier revs of Premiere (not Pro) could be set up to capture single frames at selected intervals.
