I shot some clips couple of weeks ago and as I capturing the tape, I noticed the pixellation. I inserted another tape and it played fine.
Can someone please infom me on how to fix this issue.
I know the head is not dirty but could the tape be dirty and what are the procedures for cleaning a DV tape?

I've never heard of cleaning a tape. Tape is cheap and if you know the camera is good and the tape is bad, do your best to make a dub of the bad tape ASAP and work off of the dub.

Hi... i'm also having some sort of the same problem and i'm wondering whether its a head problem or tape problem. i always use a new tape. and pixels occur only to 2 frames.

i tried capturing again n it occurs at the same spot. i clean my head with cleaning tape about once every 50 hours. now its clocking around 200 hours.

so can anyone help me determine my problem and how to solve it...

Once it's bad on tape, that's it, especially if it's repetitive. If you have "holes in your footage, that's it, you might try to fix it in post, but the tape is like that for ever. The tape is not "dirty" as such, because of the dirt on the tape/heads while recording stuff is missing or magnetic material from tape is missing (it's called dropouts), there's no way you can bring it back.
