GH2 How do I turn off the auto EVF/LCD switch in CREATIVE MOVIE MODE?

Hello. I am really starting to get annoyed with Panasonic. On my GH1 and GH2, I want to turn off the LVF/LCD auto switch (that causes the LCD screen to automatically turn off whenever an object comes near the LVF infrared sensor) in Creative Movie Mode BUT, IT IS GRAYED OUT in the custom menu in Creative Movie Mode and can't be accessed! I know that if I go to C1, C2, or C3, I can go to the Custom menu and turn the auto LVF/LCD switch off and then overwrite the memory for C1 and the auto LVF/LCD switch will stay off as long as the camera is set to C1 on the dial. But, as soon as I switch the top dial to Creative Movie Mode, the auto LVF/LCD switch is back on so, that doesn't do me any good when I'm shooting a movie now, does it?!!! Is there a way to turn this off when I am shooting in Creative Movie Mode?

I just checked mine cause I switched it of the past weekend. I ran through all the modes and the auto switch is still off except for C1 and C1 where I keep the auto switching on for photography. Plus I have also checked, I can switch it on or off whilst in movie mode. Just to be sure that I am doing what you are doing:

Select movie mode
Go left to main menu tabs
Go to Custom settings ("c" with wrench)
Menu page 5
"LVF/LCD Switch"
Press "WB" nav button
"Auto Switch" currently states "OFF"

What in the heck?! Why is it grayed out and inaccessible in Creative Movie mode on my GH2 and not yours?! Did you guys load the latest GH2 firmware update from Panasonic? Also in the "Custom" menu, "REC AREA" and "REMAINING DISPLAY" are grayed out on my GH2. Can someone please help me resolve this problem? Thanks.

Yipee! I found the answer in another thread. For anyone else having this problem, here is the answer:

In the "Custom Menu" ("C" with a wrench next to it), change the "EXPO. SETTINGS" to "SWITCH BY PRESSING FRONT DIAL" and the LVF/LCD switch will now be accessible and not grayed out!

I'm talking under correction, but I think that is the first time I have ever seen those menu names. I am running the SANITY hack by the way and haven't updated my firmware to the latest from Panasonic - might be something else that has changed.

Thanks for the update Filmkid2003 - will keep it in mind when I do update to Panasonic's latest.
