How do I set up multiple monitors in the field?

How can I set up the camera (7D) so the DP can see through a monitor (or live view), another for the AC to pull focus, and the one more for the director?

The 7D does not show anything on the camera LCD while sending out a video signal.

You either only see the camera LCD, OR, only send a composite or HDMI signal out.

Normally what is needed in order to set up multiple monitors on a Red or 35mm shoot?

run your HDMI signal to an HDFury, then HD Component to an-board monitor which you can loop to a Production monitor. see our setup here:

Hey Chris can you send pics of your setup? We shot a music video Sat and had the hardest time keeping focus with the t2i's small viewfinder.

We just got the new Swit 10" Monitor with SDI in, focus assit and Waveform Monitor, we send the HDMI to a Blackmagic HDMI to SDI Converter, the SDI to the Swit and then out to the client Ref via SDI which is a Sony 17" Job. Very nice, pricey, but very nice
