How do I rename a P2 card?

In Windows you can just right-click it, choose "rename", and type in a name. That name will be lost when reformatting the card though. You can also rename a card in the P2 Card Manager (in the quick-access icons at the lower right of the task bar at the bottom of the screen).

I usually make a new folder on the hard drive I am copying to and name that.
Then copy the last clip.txt and the CONTENTS from the P2 card.
As Barry says. Once you re-format the card it goes back to NO NAME.
Unless you have dozens of P2 cards you are dealing with and don't need to re-format them during the shoot
then yeah I guess you could re-name them.
