How do I make Dvx100 video match Dvx100a?

Hi,

Due to some budget issues I am forced to switch from the dvx100A to the old dvx100 mid project. I was wondering what settings I need to change to make the look of the footage match up. I posted the current scene settings below.

I am shooting in 24pa; gamma = cine-like D; Knee = auto; Matrix= cine like; skin tone detail = OFF; and V detail freq = thin. Thanks for your help!!!!

Ideally you could shoot some of the same scene with both cameras set the same. Then in post analyze the difference to see if you can determine the adjustments you need. The 100 is probably a little noisier in low light and different chips/signal processors also alter the equation. But you should be able to adjust for prime differences in post such as gamma, saturation, etc. Unless you have time to note the differences an then adjust the in camera settings and retest you are better off in post.

I have a 100a and a 100b. I now use the 100b as primary and the 100a for b- roll pick up and I adjust for the difference in post as to in camera. A tweak of saturation and gamma and I am usually right on except in very low light (rare) when I detect a little more noise in the 100a.
