Dear fellow DVX users:

For an SD camera, this baby still rocks. It takes wonderful images and I am in no hurry to upgrade to HDV or even HD for that matter. Please see what this camera can do in the hands of a complete and total idiot:

Please watch in high quality mode. Scene file 6 works great and I did very little post color correction.

Hey, no prob.
When you cut to the scene of the truck coming down the snow laden path beside the building I almost fell outta the chair! (A extraordinary scene in many ways.)

AND- when the magician pulls his first bit- it was perfect timing (all around).

Your guys did a good job. High brow skit comedy in short form. Nice writing too.

In the three shot I would have moved the camera to a second position for a cut away - or, do some retakes of the same scene- but grabbed closeups, just to break the long shot up a bit- it would have added a bit of pace there.

Really- if this is your first gig outta the box, you're doing just fine.
Looking forward to other things you may share.


*I liked the third and final 'trick' with the fire. I gotta get me one of those!
