I had this thread opened under Camera support but did not get any reponse so opening a duplicate thread here. I knopw some of you AF100 users are using Glidecam X-10 system. I am just needing some help in figuring out if I got a new or an used Glidecam X-10 stabilizer system. I had paid for new product, but it seems I got used/substandard product from the seller. It came in a brown box with vest wrapped in a bubble wrap, arm and other accessories in separate bubble wraps and then everything put together in a generic brown box. The Glidecam logos are there on the vest and arm but shine of a new product is missing, In fact it seems like used. I had purchased Glidecam HD 4000 and forearm brace couple of weeks ago. Both came in separate boxes with Glidacam labels on the boxes and then both boxes bundled together in a generic brown box. That purchase was from another buyer. I purchased X-10 from a very reputed online seller but seems seller sold an used product. I am going to call the seller, but before that wanted to check with the other buyers what the new product's packing is like. So please share your experience if you had purchased this system.
How Do I know the Glidecam X-10 System is brand new or used?

Thanks, I already called the seller today. They are offering an exchange. It is going to take some time to get it swapped. But now I am more curious about what the packaging of new X-10 system looks like as done by the manufacturer. I don't think that it would be bubble wrapped and sent to the distributors for selling. So if someone has purchased a new system probably can share the information about how it looks like or share the pics. But I would doubt that anyone would take the pics before opening the packaging.
