How do I improve lighting in low-lighting conditions?

I have a LP micro light for my DVX100b. It works great but it only has so much range. I know how the gain and iris controls work but is there something in the menu that could help brighten up the picture? I've had my camera for a year and besides setting the fps, the menu is foreign territory. :undecided

Well, you can shoot at a lower shutterspeed, shoot at 60i or try boosting the master pedestal and go to Black Stretch to get some more info in the black area at the expense of a murkier picture. When it comes down to it though there's no free lunch, at some point you need to add more light.
