How do I get my footage to be full wide screen using Sony Vegas Pro 9?

On camera I am shooting 4:3 and when I upload to sony vegas my videos come out like the one in this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yrjd0ajfrIo and i want to get it as close as I can to full wide screen with that good of quality video. Any thing will help.
P.S. New to the whole Vegas Pro 9. I have always used windows movie maker.

Dude, you are asking questions like "how do i change to 60i?" and saying "I am shooting 4:3 and .... i want to get it as close as I can to full wide screen....". The answers to your questions have nothing to do with Windows Moviemaker capture settings(your earlier thread) or Vegas 9.
At the very minimum, you need to read your owners manual. If you had read it, you would not be asking these questions. You should also get Barry's book as other users have said before. If you are at least half way serious about shooting video then you need to know how to use your camera. The information is available but don't expect to have it handed to you. Put a little effort into it.

Taylorsand, you really should do more research into how to properly operate your camera, and how each function setting effects the camera's footage. That being said, to answer your specific question... you should be shooting the footage in Squeeze mode. Here is a suggestion to base the foundation of your camera's settings on:

All I did was do a google search for DVX Settings. Now, make sure once you change these settings that you save them to a preset button, otherwise once you power off the camera and back on again the settings will be reset. Good luck.

PS I've only had my DVX for a few weeks man, just soak up as much info as you can.

Thanks for the help. I know I am asking a lot of questions but I didn't find the owners manual until after I posted the question. It was at the very bottom of the box it came in. Sorry for the questions. I won't have anymore!
