GH13 How do I fix a broken MTS file?

I had shot a video that errored out on me because it said my card speed was too slow. This is with the GH13 hack. I thought it had not recorded at all. But it turns out it did. I can watch most of it off my SD card with MplayerX on my mac, but it will not transfer to my hard drive without throwing up an error and then cancelling the transfer.

1. Is there any way to transfer the file from the SD card to my mac successfully?
2. Is there any way to fix the file?

Yes. Panasonic has 2 free programs on one of their pages, but it's hard to find.
