FS7: How do I enable the histogram on sony FS7?

I use this unit on occasion when I record with client owned FS7 and can never find a way to enable histogram. I've searched all over the interweb for a clue and can find none.

For some reason Sony have seen fit to refer to it (and the waveform monitor/vectorscope) as "Video Signal Monitor", and you can configure it in the menu under VF. You can choose which one you want to display, as well as whether it should refer to the LUTed or un-LUTed signal. Hope that helps.

P.S. Also note that it won't work when shooting HFR, that's a limitation of the camera.

LUTs don't work in HFR, but histogram/waveform works perfectly fine in HFR mode. It didn't work in the early firmware, but does now.

How to monitor the un-LUTed signal please?

I would like to apply my LUT in the viewfinder, record the SLOG3 and monitor the waveform without the LUT, is it possible with the 4.2 Firmware please?

In fact, I can't access to the SDI2 menu and the viewfinder Menu in the Monitor LUT menu, why?

Ok I found, it's the "Distortion Comp Lens" the problem, I turned this setting off and I can apply a lut on the viewfinder now!

And you can select which signal the waveform monitor represents, with or without LUT.
