How do i add cartoons over video?

[baseer]

I was wondering how i could add cartoons over video.

an example is in this music video.

I was thinking of getting cartoon clips with green/blue backrounds and just chroma-key

It doesnt have to look perfect, but i just want a unique fun vibe

thanks!

You shouldn't have to do any chroma keying. A foreground cartoon element would probably already have an alpha channel so you could just lay it over the live material as is in a program such as after effects.
