How do I add a TV monitor to editing system?

This might be a stupid question but here goes.

I'm using Final Cut Studio to edit. I have a Mac with dual monitors. I capture all the video I shoot to the internal hard drive and use the computer monitors to view all editing. Unfortunately, the computer monitors don't give an accurate brightness representation.

Without buying an editing deck (which I don't need because I have an HPX170), how can I attach a TV to my computer without using the camera's A/V output (which I don't think can be done with an HPX170 anyway)? I've done Google searches for this and can't find any answers other than to connect an editing deck to the system. Are there video cards or anything like that that I could install in my computer that would output an NTSC signal with, maybe, an HDMI jack?

I appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you,
Lloyd

Thanks goetzpd,

I just read about it and the requirements are an Intel Mac. I have a PPC G5. I'll keep looking, or maybe bite the bullet and buy a new computer...YIKES!

I use the mini - i don't think it fits the card bus in the G5. Matrox shows a USB box on their site, not sure if its mac compatible.

You'll eventually need an intel mac, less and less upgrades are going ppc... A mac pro will make you smile after a G5 (which was a heck of a mac in its time) Its night & day.
