hello

i ve been trying to achieve this high contrast 21 grams looks for a while now. And I havent gotten close. I ve talked to the dp of this film "Illegal" And he said they didnt do much color correcting in post. He said it was pretty simple. I realize they used a redrock. I use a brevis but i cant get any close to this texture on these clips. Any advice would be appreciated.

thanks

looks like HMI's were used. U would need at least a solid 1 ton grip/lighting truck with at least an HMI or Joker

Have you tried Magic Bullet Looks? I thought it has some pre-sets for looks that are somewhat close to this look.

An HMI is simply a light that is daylight balanced. That very well could have been a Tungsten light gelled with CTB. Either way, the light used doesn't make a difference. It is the lighting itself.
