How can I stop auto exposure!!!

I have lost several excellent shots due to the camera auto adjusting the exposure.

I'm in motion picture mode/manual setting, and it is still doing it.

Any suggestions?
 
i am pretty sure you can with the AF/AE lock button.....wait a minute...."while shooting" hmm...just tested and doesn't seem like it.
 
Not sure about the GH1 but my GF13 can lock exposure for video. Latest hacked firmware, of course. Creative Movie mode with Shutter priority manual mode chosen in the menu rig before shooting. ISO100. Auto anything off. Manual glass. Exposure doesn't budge.
