How can I fix this error?

So I'm shooting a project in squeeze mode. Stupidly, I shot a scene in normal 4x3 mode. I can easily crop the image to make it fit, but I was wondering if this would cause a problem in the timeline? Will something bad happen if i have cropped 4x3 and squuezed footage in the same sequence (in FCP)? Also how would I go about cropping a 4x3 image to exactly match up with squeeze footage?

If you have an anamorphic 16:9 sequence, and 4:3 clip, then a) drop the 4:3 video on the squence, b) double click on the clip in the sequence to load it in the viewer, c) select the motion tab in the viewer, d) set the scale to 133.33. That should scale up the 4:3 to exactly fit the 16:9 screen, and the top and bottom of the 4:3 image will be cut off.

If the squeeze footage and the 4:3 footage were both shot in the same frame rate, and that matches the timeline, ressizing the video shouldn't create any problem between the clips.

Hey andy_starbuck, that wasn't my question but good info to know!

When I was doing "test footage" of squeeze, 4:3 cropped, etc. I tried to put them all in the same timeline and it came out all funky. This is good info.

Thanks!
