How busy is everyone?

It's been crazy lately. This is my last semester here before transfering to my new school, so I'm getting ready to move (looking for appt, etc). Though I somehow still find a way to spend at least 18 hours a day on DVXuser... strange.

I'm going SCUBA diving this weekend, though. So I'll have 10,000 threads to catch up on Sunday night.
 
busy as hell. its sad- i cant wait to go to school for that reason. i work so much with my full-time job, when i get back home im exhausted- i want to write scripts, shoot vid, but i end up sleeping. BUSY BUSY
 
anyone working on any random projects? I'm gonna try to shoot some improv tomorrow... just put the word out last night, see what comes up....
 
This place is my hideaway from the endless wedding videos I have been editing. Man, I need to make time to do some of my own work soon. A few more reception dance montages and I might go postal. I'm actually looking forward to the slow season so I can get another short in the can.
 
I'll be starting preproduction on a slasher flick pretty soon, so that will take up a good chunk of time.
 
In Minneapolis? What production company? I'm from Minneapolis, so I know a lot of the cats that work in film up there.
 
busy working with clients that are insane and have zero understanding of the real world, that's why the budget gets a "donkey punch" line item

I'll be shooting in Mankato (an hour south). We're still very early in the process. The script is nearing completion.

That's the plan. We're shooting for a late '70s or early '80s feel. We'll see what kind of a makeup budget we end up with, but I can see it being quite violent either way.:thumbsup:
 
In addition to my full time salaried day job, I've recently picked up some higher paying video/editing production jobs, so I've been slammed ... though the extra cash is awesome! For the first time in I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG, we've got the credit card paid off, and some cash in savings. Feels weird ... I'll have to see what toys I can blow it on. :evil:

All that, and writing the script for the sci-fi fest has had me doing less posts lately on DVXuser :cry:
 
Kai, love the sig to coordinate with your avatar! I'd move it to the left a little though, to line up a little better with the angle of fire. :thumbsup:
