You can access the top menu through the F35's side panel controls.
1) Connect a monitor up to the "monitor" SDI out on the F35

3) Click the VF/menu display button 2 times.
4) The main menu should appear. Release the spinning wheel.
5) Using the spinning wheel, scroll to Maintenance and click on it by depressing the spinning wheel button.

My memory is that for at least some Sony products (IIRC, Betacam VTRs...like mine that's just sitting in storage), the hour-of-use meter measures in tens of hours. So a meter that shows "25" would mean that the device had 250 hour of run or head time. Geez; it's really been a while and I have no idea if that applies to the F35. Perhaps Eric or someone else here does.
