Hot Rod PL Tuner Kit

I'm looking at the Hot Rod PL Tuner Kit for a AF100, and I'm wondering this thing works with say the Redrock Micro Studio Bundle. Does the Hot Rod base plate replace the one in the studio bundle, or does it go on top of the Studio Bundle?

Alright. What about easily transitioning from the tripod to the microShoulderMount?

Rig right off the tripod on to the shoulder mount or just add the shoulder piece and handles right to the rig off the tripod?

Here is were it gets complicated. The Hot Rod base plate can attach to a Sachtler head direct with no adapter. Just pop it in. To attach it to another rig you will need a adapter or screw it into the Hot Rod base plate. It has a cheese plate type bottom so maybe it will work or attach a Manfrotto quick release to it.

I'm just guessing, but building a rig is hit or miss when combining several different brands together.
