A few weeks ago I posted a promotional clip for a music video we shot here in Pittsburgh. It is now available. Please take a look and let me know what you think.

Directed and shot by: Lakeeba Coleman for Lifeline Pictures

Very nice video. Did you use natrual light? What settings did you hvae on the camera? Did you use any picture styles such as the technicolor? I love your shots and I'm wondering what you did with this video.

Same questions, except for the natural light..hehe.

reem12, What lighting did you use? I'd like to know what you used for all shots if you don't mind, Thanks

Almost every scene in this video was lit, even outside. We used a 1k fresnale, a lowel dp kit, a 650 watt red head, and 2 fesalini mini fills.

Thanks for the info.
Can you tell us what you used for your Picture style? Cinestyle? Marvels? Also, What did you shoot at? 24P? 30P? Did you use any color correction? What program? Thank you in advance.

Because that's the professional way. You light the darkness. Very nice video indeed.

Hey Joe, I shot 24p on this video. No pictures style outside of neutral setting. I applied the 3 way color wheel and a secondary color on certain colors to make certain colors more pronounced. Final cut 7 was the program used. Hope this answers some of the questions concerning the production. anymore questions let me know.

Dude, this is some sick work!!! I remember you posting the promo for this. Your coloring and lighting are Top notch. Please if you could tell me what lens you used for the opening of this video?

Reem12,
Wow! I totally applaud you, outstanding job. I'm very surprised on you got your colors so vibrant with neutral..I might have to drop my marvels here soon..hehe.
Thank you so much for answering, I totally appreciate it. Can't wait to see more.

I couldn't tell you since I'm not the one who DP'd it obviously, but I'd venture a guess it's the fast nifty fifty or lower-end equivalent due to shallow dof, somewhat shaky on some shots on the intro (no IS?), and what looks like a 6-bladed iris on the bokeh. Sick sharpness on that lens, beautifully shot video.

Amazing video. I'll second other's comments on the lighting. Well edited. I'd be really proud if any of my videos came out half as good as this. Congrats!

Unatratnag is spot on. The nikon 50mm 1.4. Love this lens on the 5d. I love the 24mm nikon as well, but most of the opener was the 50.

Thanks unatratnag for the compliment.
