hi guys. I was wondering if any one knew some cheap website hosts, where i could have about 10 videos uploaded or more. I dont want to pay to much so does ne one know any good hosts that are cheap and will give alot of storage for videos. THANKS!
 
Do you want to stream the videos, like having a website, or do you just need storage room? For the latter, try http://www.megaupload.com, a free ad-financed file hoster. The file size limit is 250 MB, but you can upload as many files as you want. If you enter an E-Mail adress, you also get an e-mail containing a delete link after you have finished uploading.

If you are looking for a webhoster, you may have a look at other free services, or cheap hosters, like http://www.godaddy.com, or http://all-inkl.com (mainly for German speaking people)
 
That's why they are so awesome. On top of great service and only $8 per month, they give you referral money towards your account. I have referred a ton of people on this board and theyall seem to love this host as well.....

Well i think im going with DREAM HOST...because i can get 97 dollars off a 1 yr plan so it comes out to 23 for the year..but i dont mean to sound cheap but is taht isnt for every yr..so can i just put the code again or is tehre someway around it to get that 23 a yr forever!!! any help will help

Well, I don't think it will work. But besides that, I would compare way more. There are lots of other hosters out there, just becaue Dreamhost has an aggressive affiliate program does not mean that it offers the best conditions. Try 1and1 for example. Go look for reviews of hosters.
 
Dimple- You only get the $97 off if you refer someone. Your plan won't work unless you get other people to join through you.

Pascal- You are giving DH a bad name without even looking at them. They have the best webpanel, options, uptime, service of any host I have ever been with (and being a webmaster for 30 odd websites, I have been with a lot). They aren't just about the low price and referral fee.

Yeah, because you make money with them...Look, I did not say that Dreamhost is not the best, I just did say that they may not be the best. It usually is a very good idea not to jump at the first thing you see, but to compare.
 
When using megaupload, can anybody find where you click, "browse," to begin uploading your files?

It seems they hide everything on their web page so you upload less stuff.
 
Me too. I've got 9 domains hosted with them, starting in 2001. Lately they've been having a few problems, but they seem to be dealing with them. Plus, the newsletters are the best you'll ever read!
