Yes, and any comparisons to the Rode Video Mic Pro and the Sennheiser MKE400 would be most useful as they are all in the same size category. Is the Hosa worth the extra price over the other two? I use a GH1, so am interested in how it would work with the GH1 as well as the GH2. Any help is appreciated as I am looking to purchase an on-camera mic sometime in the near future. Thank You!

Tried it. Lots of mic noise and hiss. Not happy with it. Not at all. Hopefully it was defective.

Also the shock mount was way too rigid. Could have been old stock. The mic looked small but solid. One note this is terminated in a mini plug and has internal batteries. Good for SLRS bad for XLR cams. there is a kit with XLR and phantom power that goes under a different name.

I bought it but have not used it yet. One of the rubber O rings (for the mount) was broken and they mailed me out one right away. It does have a small telescopic boom pole but it does not have a cable running through it. I bought it for $349 not $499.
