horrible problem. help!

I just turned on my DVX100 (only 80 hours, owned for 2-3 years, never used as a deck or even rewound on it) and I'm getting a pink screen with slight bars and it says "PROCESSING...AWB Ach ACTIVE" like when you set white balance. its locked on that. when i switch it to VCR it works fine, when i switch back, same problem. is there a fix for this? ack! i lost an evening of shooting and if i dont get this fixed, i'll lose another evening too! i've hit the reset button and did a preliminary troubleshooting but no dice.

I don't really have a solution for you, but here's a suggestion. You may want to remove the battery and have the camera off. Then attach the AC power and turn the camera back on. If this doesn't do anything - try the reset button again using AC power. You just never know. I hope it resets and all is good.
