Anyone a fan of these?

Television adaption was terrific though, bit of a clean, genuine Master & Commander feel.
Can't say I've read the books, 'yet'. :(

I thought the series are fantastic. One of the things that really fueled my love for not only that time period, but the wonderful ships, people, and places of that maritime age.

Very well done, and very very well written and acted.

Loved the series. Loved it.

Gruffud was my pick for young Jim Kirk. Why? He already played him. That's who his Hornblower was.

I think it's Great Stuff. Well cast, fine sense of place, rousing stories well told. Just watched the first few again, some months ago, and they still hold up.

One of my favorite mini-series. Read the first couple books and loved them. Gruffudd said he'd like to do a feature a couple years back and I'm hoping it happens.

First season of BSG I kept seeing Archie instead of Apollo. I miss those characters...

I have to say Paul MG who plays Bush, I love everything about that character and the way he portrays him.
I'm trying to work out what the next few novels are after the 'Duty' episode

Also a little surprised that there's a lot of you in the States who know about it & enjoy it.
Thought this would be more of a fast dying unpopular British thing.

I heard the film rumour with Ioan - hope he find's the opportunities he's looking for.
