Horizontal lines on LCD and viewfinder

I see what looks like a "tv effect" on the LCD and viewfinder with horizontal lines scanning over the picture. This is in every mode, and in the MCR thumbnail window. My HVX is 3.5 years old. I haven't noticed this before, and it is kind of annoying. Anyone else experience the same thing?
