Horizontal bars in 24p footage

I just got a DVX100B, and I shot in 24p, not 24pa and used fcp to capture. I didnt change any capture settings and when i watched the clips in fcp there are horizontal bars in the motion. Whats cuasing this and how do I fix it? I also shot in 30p and it looked perfect.
