Hoping for book on HMC-150

There's a "readme" that outlines the procedure, on the CD.

If you're using a freshly formatted SD card, you can just copy the whole "private" directory over, but make sure you use the appropriate one for the camera you have.

International order seems to be taking forever...
Any rough idea for how long it takes for the delivery to Southeast Asia, Barry?
 
International deliveries are a conundrum. Sometimes it'll take as little as 4 days, sometimes it takes 21 days just to get to Canada (the country immediately to the north of us). I could drive there in a day, but it can take 3 weeks for the postal service to deliver it!

In general I tell people that 14-18 days seems about average for international deliveries.
 
That would be pretty sweet, if they chose to do that.

In the meantime I'm moving forward with listing it on Amazon, on ebay, and getting it into dealer inventories (such as B&H, etc).
 
Recieved my copy a few days ago. Learned allot in the first 10 pages. Great book. Can't wait to finish reading. Ever thought of putting it in iPod, e-reader format?
 
got my copy today- cheezit that's fast. :shocked:

I think my copy is grey market or something- someone signed the inside cover "Bay Gom" :grin:

EDIT: just got to page 23 and no mention of Vegas as a leading NLE with AVCHD support :( It had it before FCP and CS4 didn't it?

Got my copy on the 20th! Way faster than I expected! Canadian customs didn't fuss about it I guess. Thanks a lot Barry! I'm learning a lot! I like the FAQ section and techniques like getting a depth of field and also the scene settings explanation.
 
Has anyone got a status update from the tracking link yet as mine still says :-

Barry did say it is often delayed but it has been over a week and no update.

we never got a confirmation email or a tracking number, but it showed up in 2 or 3 days.
we are happy we decided to buy it, we have already learned some useful things.

I'm also having that status since the day I've placed my order on the 15th Aug...
Don't know whether it's gonna be updated once it ships...
If it will, I guess it's probably still stuck at the dock or somewhere... :-S
 
All orders have been shipped. I hope they update the status on the website, but that listed status has nothing to do with the order shipping date. They've all been shipped. I just wish the postal service had better reporting of the actual status.
 
Many thanks Barry, I have now received my book here in the UK. Next time I will ignore the tracking as it never did update.
