Hook up Camera to mixer board via XLR??

We're shooting a Jewish wedding in a week's time. There will be a sound system using a Yamaha Mixer - EMX212s - http://www2.yamaha.co.jp/manual/pdf/pa/english/mixers/emx512sc_en_om_d0.pdf and I am trying to figure out how to get sound out of this board to my DVX100 Camera.

My plan was to hook up an XLR feed from mixer to my Dvx100. I realize relying on another person for sound is not optimal (we got burned on this one two months ago at another Jewish wedding!) but the groom refuses to wear a lapel mic. Looking at the PDF specs of the mixer I do not see an XLR out. It appears to have a phone jack output not an XLR. The board is powering two speakers and a monitor.
We also plan to have a wireless shotgun placed above the ceremony in the Hupah (Hupah's always seem to be in way of good shooting but in this case if we can attache a wireless mic to it may be an asset)

What is the best way for us to get clean / hum free sound out of this particular mixer?????

On the front of the box are a couple of options.

The 1/4" main outs, which are balanced TRS, can feed your camera with a 1/4" TRS > XLR adapter cable. Use the L/Mono feed. These will send you the same mix that comes from the speakers, at LINE level. Not ideal, but with this mixer/amp, it's pretty much all you have to work with.

The RCA "RECORD" outs also send the main mix, but at unbalanced line level. If you have a DI box with a built-in ground lift, you can take an RCA>1/4" TS adapter cable from the mixer to the DI, then run an XLR (this will be MIC level) from the DI to the camera. The ground lift can be handy if you hear any hum/interference in the signal.

Front or rear outputs?

Front or rear outputs?

I'm a little confused here, will the sound guy be using the outputs from the font or rear of the board, there are two set right? Where the best place to buy the TRS to XLR adaptors? Also, I see there are Neutrik connectors on the back?

Do not hook the outputs on the back of the Yamaha system to your camera. Those are amplified (both the 1/4" and Speakon connections), and go straight to the main/monitor speakers.

You will be using the line-level outputs on the front of the box, lower right-hand section.

As for purchasing adapter cables... any place that sells sound equipment. Your local guitar shop is a place to start.

Clergy are often used to wearing lapel mics these days. I'm not familiar with Jewish weddings, so I don't know if the bride and groom say anything when the rabbi isn't close to them. Of course, you'll still want coverage of any music/singing.

get TRS to XLR male and go from the headphone out to channel 2 on your DVX. Set both mic channels to use input 2 so you can get the most volume without peaking.

This can cause a few complications, aside from the fact that the EMX212s has no headphone output. The headphone out of any mixer is the last source I'd ever consider taking a feed to my camera.

Sending a headphone-level signal can overmodulate on input to the camera. Also, simply using a TRS>XLR cable means that you're taking a stereo, unbalanced signal and trying to cram it into a mono, balanced input. This is going to cause some signal problems as well.

And sacrificing both channels for this means no use of any other mic (shotgun, wireless lav, etc.)
