Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro are both 10 times more powerful than vegas. You can have that. I would say that it is almost a proven fact!

Ten times more powerful? A "proven fact"? Preposterous. Ridiculous. Absurd.
You start naming things that they can do that Vegas can't, and do it at a 10:1 ratio. Hell, do it at a 2:1 ratio. A 1.5:1 ratio, even. Show me how they don't even break even.
You haven't even done that with Avid. Like I said, even if I grant you media management, tell me something Avid can do that Vegas can't. Otherwise, you really are just a guy sitting at a typewriter refusing to try Word because it's not what you're used to. And that's fine -- your affinity for Avid doesn't need to end -- but don't blame it on Vegas. It's your own set-in-stone attitude which is responsible there.
By this time, it's pretty clear that all you're really after is confirmation of Vegas's inferiority . . .
Why would it take extra minutes? Just put in your project folder. Click. Click. Click. Done. That's about 14 seconds, tops, unless you're suffering from biblical-level carpal tunnel syndrome. And that's only if you're so obsessive that you need to know exactly where every little thing is -- which is really only a factor if you're switching hard drives between computers and need to take the project files with you. Otherwise, who cares where it sits in your computer?
So, if you want to convince us that you really do "want" to be convinced re: Vegas, you're going to have to do better and start naming real editing power that Avid (and Final Cut and Premiere) has and Vegas doesn't.
Otherwise, dude, you're just trolling.

It extra minutes everytime you think of something new you want to import. Can you tell me that every or even half of your projects, you know exactly what you are gonna use the whole way through with no improvision? I dont think so.
