home video shot on a sony consumer cam

I couldn't get through it, but here is my review:

The opening title sequence is way too long, I almost didn't even get through IT. Then there was just a bunch of images edited together. Music was Horrible and had no place in there. The way the shots were composed was just plain boring. The footage looked bad. Real bad. The Fake film look in the beginning is just very obviously not film footage. Did you just get a bunch of clips and put them together? I'm not sure what you were trying to do...
Also, this doesn't belong in this thread.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but it's just my opinion-And we all know what opinions are like...

You're right it doesn't belong in this section, sorry.
It is just a party video and is supposed to be humorous. I thought it would be fun for you guys to see it.

I just finished a script that I hope to start working on in June.

Fusionist, it might be a good idea to really study some well made films and analyze the living heck out of them. Buy several books, DVD's , etc on the subject matter and know them backwards and forwards. Do that and go make another couple of films. They still might not be so good. That's okay. Get other filmmakers better than you are to tear these films you just made apart. Then pick yourself up off the floor and go watch more movies and make more shorts. Keep going like this, reading, watching, absobing and if you can, actually helping out on other people's films, until one day, you come back to these boards with a film that will kick our collective asses.
