awesome! i can't find the pages that have his other diy projects referenced ... crane, etc.?
 
As xl70e3 said, if it's possible for you post pics of the inside of the gear section that would probably satisfy everyone's need for DIY plans. I'm sure it's simple as hell, but having never built anything like that, it would give me and the others the confidence to try it.

Hi there , yes built crane from bits i found. Biggest bit I had to beg for was the aluminium tube section. I can't easily show internals of FF as I don't have time to strip it right now, and besides unless you own a CAD workshop I don't think will help guys.

can u put some deatiled intructions on how to makeone?
how about that ring on tha DVX itself?

Hello chaps, thank you for looking and also for your positive input, sorry I havent posted for abit, but still in Super8 world... The ring on the DVX
that the FF gear runs is simply the drive belt from the chopper reversed! This way you can be sure the teeth on the drive match. Hum, I hope helps. Not that easy to explain... If I had drawn plans when I made this item I would post them, but I didn't.
I am shoting a feature this summer with this unit so soon there will be more mods and info.
