Ok all I have gotten the parts I needed in and have completed and tested V1 of the zoom controller which I will call Bzoom for now.  I have pictures but I am not sure how to post them. If anyone can help please PM me.

I will make 2 versions, one being the Bzoom Pro and the Bzoom.  The difference will be that the Pro has a modular plug for the cord. This way you can extend the length to your hearts desire or buy extra cords for backup.

I am going to be also making an all push button version called BzooP.  This one requires a bit more labor and more parts so it will be a little more.

The last little detail is a good way to attach the Bzoom. Tie Raps work great but make it a pain to quickly remove, I am looking into a better solution.

$50 Bzoom Pro with 10ft removable cable
$45 Bzoom with 10ft cable

OK All I have solved the mounting issue. It will clip onto a tube like the control arm of a Bogen 503 head. I am sure you could tweak the clip to fit a thinner tube as well.

I put a piece of soft velcro on my bogen control arm so it would have some friction when it's clipped to the arm and it wont scratch my black finish.

I have more pictures of it mounted and the hand position to use it. Will post a web page for it soon.

Hey everyone!
I ordered one and got it. I tried it out tonight and it works real good. I will be using at my next wedding which is a Live wedding at the Bridal Show in Ocean City, MD. Actually, my wife will be using it because we extend the Camera height so high, she can't reach the top of the camera, so I got it for her.
