So, just this afternoon my Zeiss Distagon 25mm 2.8 came in the mail. After playing around with it for a short while indoors and outdoors, I'm totally blown away. This is by far the finest sub 2k lens I've used on the GH2 (not going to include ultra expensive lenses like zeiss cp and others). It has the most pitch perfect blend of all the characteristics I desire- slightly low contrast, bringing out a very nice neutral feel; sharp as a tack and surprisingly good in low light at 2.8 (feels like f2 on any of the other faster lenses I own), and the perfect focal range.
Hopefully I'll get some shots I can put up tomorrow or sometime this week. But yeah, I'm pretty much ready to sell off a few lenses I was using in this range, including my previous fav, the Sig 30mm 1.4. It's almost disturbing how much just a lens can drastically alter the aesthetic of this camera.
If you haven't used zeiss glass on your GH2... you seriously need to try it, or at least look at the kind of image it produces.
