HOLY CRAP SPIDERMAN 3 Casting

Geeze, another? How many more are they going to make?

Though I must say I find Kirsten Dunst to be rather cute for some reason.

well, Spiderman is not one of my favourites. I have wathed them on TV, never in the cinema.

After the wonderful made Batman begins i dont think so much of the spiderman series anymore.

Spider-man 2 is way better than Batman Begins. Don't get me started.

Shaw, I wish they were shooting the Spider-man flicks three at a time so we could have one every summer. The way to do comic movies well is as serials.

In the latest bit of Spiderman 3 casting Sam Raimi and Avi Arad revealed the introduction of Gwen Stacy into the series with this next installment. She's going to be played by Ron Howard's daughter.

Also brace yourselves because Whedon is working on a Wonder Woman movie too. Although that's old news by this point but i saw someone else mention it above.

This is going to be a little bit strange seeing Topher Grace playing a serious character. I am so incredibly used to seeing him as Eric from That 70's Show, its going to be tough to see him in a different light, I think he is an amazing actor though, im sure he could change my mind in the first 10 minutes.

I had a feeling that venom was going to be in the third one becuase Jameson's son was an astronaut and from what I remeber the stuff that made the black suit was from outer space. (again, from what I remember)

Batman and Spiderman have always been my favorites. Christian Bale IS Batman..IMHO

Tobey Maguire as Spidey...he's good..but there were probably better choices.

Who would be better than Maguire? I think he embodies Spidey quite nicely, a little bit of a wimp, a little bit of a hero, and a little bit of being just plain confused...at least that's how I remember the early comics.

Topher's gonna be good I think. I was never a spiderman fan either, but the movie as a whole is amazing. Both are.
Its good to have a director thats been passionately in love with the character since he was a boy. Thats what made the movies sell better I think.

Tobey is good in this, but I'm not a big fan of the movies, and I'm not sure why. I read spidey for over 2 decades growing up and it just seems...off somehow.

One thing that bugs me is Kirsten Dunst. She makes MJ seem more slutty and less empowered that the comic.

Why bother bringing in Gwen Stacy now? IMHO, losing her was a huge part of the spidey mythos, so I'm not sure why she wasn't there from the beginning. Her showing up now is just dumb to me, especially if you are introducing more villians.
