HOLY COW !!! a hack for CS5!

I'm interested in speeding up export times. Does the Adobe Media Encoder take advantage of the GPU or is it still CPU? Anyone tried MainConcept Codec Suite 5.1? Supposedly it can offload h264/AVC encoding to the GPU

Anyone tried MainConcept Codec Suite 5.1? Supposedly it can offload h264/AVC encoding to the GPU
I have the MainConcept Codec Suite 5.1 installed with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 on a Win7 workstation using a GTX260 CUDA card. Codec Suite 5.1 is a professional MPEG-2/H.264/AVC encoder that is highly configurable. It has a separate CUDA-based AVC encoder that only supports a subset of the H.264 profiles. In particular, it supports Baseline and Main profiles in 8-bit 4:2:0 color, but not High profile or anything beyond that. On my CUDA card, which is one of the cheaper nVidia models with 128 cores, the MainConcept CUDA AVC encoder runs about the same speed as the workstation's 6-core 3Ghz Intel i7 CPU. That's not a bad showing for the CUDA card, considering that the CPU is about as fast as you can get these days.

Unfortunately, the MainConcept Codec Suite 5.1plugin for Adobe CS5 works only on Win7 machines.

Suggestions for cards in the $100-250 range? I'm looking for something to run Premiere CS5 and Maya. Any suggestions?
