MUSIC VIDEO: HOLI- The Festival of Colors in India

The editing was good, and some of the images themselves were really nice.

However I am perplexed by your choice of color temperature. You chose a very cold palette for this video, which not only ruins the vibrancy of the colors of this festival, but also kind of sucks out the feeling of warmth and joy that this festival represents. I guess I didn't feel that the color matched the content, which is especially unfortunate for this video because the basis of the entire event is the incredible colors.

It's possible my opinion is being influenced by things i've seen in the past. I'm so used to everything i've seen shot in India being filled with warm colors that it's just kind of visually jarring to see something going in the opposite direction. It's almost as if the difference makes this not "feel" like India to me, which is hilarious because i've never been to India in person. Goes to show the power of images over our perception of places/people.
 
I think you are right. The warmth and joy indeed required warm tones. I forgot the color correction and just rushed to put togther the video and send it everyone I guess. Thanks for your comments.
 
Just altered the tone cold to warm using youtube enhancement tool! I guess its definitely better then the cool tone! Thanks
