Moving into the HD realm where focus flubs stand out like a sore thumb, can anyone comment about focus enhancements for the HVX200?
I used the Sony Z1 with a wide angle adaptor, and the slightest turn of the focus ring jumped view finder markers from 1 meter to 10 meters. The magnifying function was great as long as the camera was not on, but got help us focus pullers once tape starts rolling.
Does the 1/3" chip shorten the focus range? Never recalled 2/3" cameras having this pre-mature sensitivity. I know the wide angle adaptor exagerated this effect on the Z1, but Sony needs to rethink their entire focus system. I trust Panasonic has already solved this problem.
