I have been saving to get a GH1. Now... I don't know... I want a HMC40 too. I am torn!!!

Watch this youtube video to see how he just finger touch on LCD screen to adjust its focus? Smooooth!

Could someone please translate this video in English?

Spot anything (focus, WB, exposure) has been available on Sony cams for ages.

Does the AG-HMC40 have short DOF (filmic-looking) lens? Does it have XLR? Maybe I could/should go for this camera over the GH1 for my next feature.

HMC40 has a 1/4.1" inch sensor so it's on the other end - it has a very deep DoF.

Guess the HMC40 is out for me!
