HMC40 or the HMC150?

Okay guys, if you've been on this web site for awhile, you've read my posts and know that I own both the HMC40 and the HMC150. For those of you who don't own either cam but are looking into buying one or the other, and from what you now know about both cams, which one would you pick; the 40 or the 150 and why? Thanks.

I think that both of the cameras have strengths and weaknesses that are different from each other. Both cameras can turn out some amazing images and both could turn out some images that do not look good.

As someone that owns an HMC-40, I picked it over the HMC-150 due almost entirely on price. If I had been able to afford the HMC-150 I would have gone that route.

I am slightly confused as to the point of this post. If you already have both cameras, go out and shoot with them both. After spending time with each you will know which either suits you or the situation best. That is all that really matters.

Sorry for the confusion on this post. I'm trying to get opinions from people who own either of these cams to give myself a better perspective on what are the pros and cons for each cam. I do plan on shooting with both cams although I may decide to use the 40 more for outdoor shoots and the 150 for indoor shooting. From what I've read, those situations are what may be best for each cam. Too bad they couldn't have come up with a cam that had the qualities of both.

I have been using my pair of HMC150's for a lot of concert and stage performances lately, and must say that this cam's low light capabilities are considerable. Beautiful footage every time, nice and crisp, low noise too. Seems to me to be an unbeatable value in its price class.

Do not have any direct experience with the HMC40, so I cannot comment too much on that.

HMC40 Pros: Cheaper, smaller, sharper image in good light, detachable handle (= less bulky for storage)

HMC150 Pros: Better low-light capability, wider wideangle (without needing bulky adapter), scene files can be stored/loaded from SD card, doesn't require add-on XLR module, CCD sensor avoids jello effect and flash banding
