Im my opinion the LCD is a must-have when using the 35mm adapter. I just drilled some wholes and mounted it upside down. The cheap ones like mine are no good for focus, but for composing handheld/shoulder held shots it makes like much easier.

I also posted on vimeo...what settings did you use? Did you do any color correction or effects in post?

For some reason they recommend using prime (fixed length) lenses. I have been using a 50mm1.4 28mmf2 and a 105mm3.5 I will play with my 18-270 tamron today and post the results in this thread tomorrow

After countless other issues with the adapter... it final broke in half!!! Im sending it back (hopefully the will not give me any issues with a refund). Anyone have suggestions on a good quality adapter? Brevis, SG, Letus, etc?

It was sitting stationary on my tripod in my office, not even being used. And from across the room i heard a "clunk".

you selling it?

also, it looks as if it didn't have any kind of support
thank god you didn't break the camera instead!

brevis. sg, redrock, letus all make great adapters, they all have different strengths and weaknesses and they will cost much more than the jag.

I bought a brevis, I should have it within a week. Ill post footage when i get it set up. Im working on a series of 5 minute mini docs about lowering carbon footprints within the farm industry. Plus i produce music videos (I have 4 that need to be done this month)

I am wondering if you needed some support for the adapter and lens. I would assume that is what the rails are for but I cant seem to see any way that they were holding the lens/adapter. I wonder if it was just to much leverage/weight on the end of the lens?

as far as i know, if you weight in the lens and the adapter itself, this should have happen a long time ago...add to that the inertia of movements and bam....
it is curious how he didn't break the camera

No where on the Jag site do they in anyway recommend supporting the lens or adapter. Also... this is the first time it was on the camera and it was only for 3 hours.
