Hi Felipe

Nice footage!!

What I prefer to do is not worry to zoom at all but film the interview in stages and change the camera angle with a cut and then to stop the viewer getting bored, after the interview is over you go around and film short cutaways and closeups of what the person is talking about and insert them into the footage so the person being interviewed (as an example) talks about a new car and as soon as they discuss, say, the engine, you zap in a closeup of the engine for a few seconds, then back to the person talking. Easy to do even with a single camera and makes the interview more interesting and you are also showing the viewer what the person is talking about.

The HMC40 is one great little camera and it has been said that the footage is actually sharper than it's big brother the HMC150!!

Keep up the good work!!

Thank you Chris, Sometimes is not practical to make cuts or multicamera, mainly for time or geographic conditions, The camcorder offers this great advantage of zooming, in particular
the HMC40, with its rocket zoom, slow stop, and lanc control gives us the privilege to handle a Pro camera at this size, I'm going all the way with Panasonic, I mean cameras, sd cards and everything
The Canon DSLR shown here went to charity, replaced by Panasonic version, Pana is giving a tremendous bang for the buck in all fields
Here an example of multicamera under controlled conditions :

Felipe,

I haven't said a whole lot for the last few weeks, because I was on vacation. I really enjoy watching your videos, their well made and I love to listen to the Spanish spoken in your country. Not that I speak Spanish very well, but I understand most of what's being said.

Thank you amigo, for me is a pleasure to share concepts in this blog, where people like you want to share opinions, under the ceiling of this fantastic camera
