HMC151+ Rode VideoMic

Is it possible to mount Rode VideoMic to HMC151 (+ video light) with bundled mounts? Have Rode Mic, have plans to buy HMC151, don't know, if i must upgrade mic (don't want to :)

There have been reports of that mic working fine with the hmc... I also convert my LAV setup from mini to xlr and it works great...

With something like this:

and I think you will need this to convert the mini to XLR...

Тhank you for answer. I know about those jack-to-xlr adapters, but hoped for more or less direct mounting of videomic, without clumsy brackets. So, is there a more compact way?
 
You can convert the standard mic holder to a shoe mount (like on the HMC70), or use the back handle 1/4 hole to put a shoe mount... I use the back on with my LAV receiver.
