i see on the sides of a zoomed out hmc150 lens is that the colors arent toegther, as in the rgb channels arent fitting correctly, its like very bad video artifacts and what not...
for example, the sides of buidlings are supposed to be crisp, but theyre not, it has some type of blue outlining going on??

isnt there chromatic aberration on the naked lens as well??
or is it perfect without any aberrations?

also, how will proper exposure help? I've always thought that it was just for the "brightness" of the film/video
thx btw (:

On a long lens aberration is hard to control. I don't really notice it too much on the 150's lens though. When video is overexposed it blooms and can give the effect you are see on the edges of the buildings. Notice when you pan away from the sun to the structure in the parking lot that the sky is properly exposed and the problems are gone.

I don't see stuff like this in my footage with HMC lens only, no aberration with naked lens. ALso I don't use an adaptor either so I can't make comment there.

The back focus looks fine, that wouldn't cause a fringing like that though. When the back focus is off everything is just out of focus.
